Parkwest nightclub in Downtown Miami was one of the best clubs I have been to. It is so different from any other club that I have gone to and so much fun! I can't believe I didn't hear about it sooner. I went with a bunch of friends on a Friday night and since my roommate had a connection, we all got in free. That night the theme was "A night at Moscow." The decorations and dancers were awesome. The club had two rooms and several bars. The main room was huge and had colorful lights, unique artwork, ballerinas and go-go dancers. The other room was decorated to look sort of like a garage and a gas station. The drinks were so good and very well priced. There were professional photographers taking pictures all night, I can't even remember how many times we posed for the cameras! I think one of my favorite things about Parkwest, besides the Amaretto Sour for $8, was the bathroom, lol. The bathroom wall had the funniest and cutest sayings on the wall. I had a great time at Parkwest and I can't wait to go again! I think it's my new favorite club!

I recently went to club Mansion in South Beach and sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. With all the buzz i've heard and read about club Mansion, I expected so much more. I've always heard that Mansion is one of the best clubs on South Beach and that it is the "hot spot" for celebrities to host their extravagant parties; I guess thats why I had such a great image of it. I went to Mansion on a Friday night with friends and as soon as we drove up to the front of the club I was already disappointed. It was in between other nightclubs; not even on it's own street corner. I didn't even see a huge sign with the name of the club. There wasn't a long line of people waiting to get in and the admission for ladies was $20. I figured there would be a charge for ladies to get in since it is suppose to be one of the hottest clubs, I just thought it would be more. Once I went in and walked around I realized that there was only one main room. The club was actually pretty empty, the decorations were boring and the drinks were good but overpriced. The music was okay but they didn't play a variety. We ended up staying at Mansion for only an hour because we just didn't really like it. I think I will give Mansion another try but on a different night. I definitely will not go back on a Friday night.

Club Space is the type of club you go to after leaving another club. It’s where you go to finish your night of partying. Space opens around 10 pm and stays open until 12 noon! It is located in Downtown Miami and its outside appearance isn't to great but once inside, you see why it's such a talked about club. It is very easy to get lost inside because the club is huge. It has about three rooms, each on a different level and there are a couple bars in each. Space is best known for it's "Patio room" which is located on the highest floor and is open, allowing the sun to be seen when your up there dancing at 7 am. That’s why the "cool" thing to do at Space is to wear sunglasses. The line to get into Space is always long because the club is so popular. Admission is usually $20 for everyone but sometimes getting there before midnight gets you in free, if you’re a lady. Drinks are regularly priced. Club Space is a lot of fun but I have yet to be there until early morning, dancing when the sun is coming out. Maybe one day I will be able to stay up that late and get the full Space experience.

All the buzz and hype about Spirits nightclub at the Hard Rock is true. It’s a beautiful, clean and upscale club. Spirits has three rooms, several VIP areas and numerous bars. The cost for everyone is usually $20 but can be more when there is a special event going on. The line is always long that’s why its good to be on a list because there is a separate line for people on a list. The club is extremely strict with dress code and age. You must be 21 years old and guys must be dress very proper. If the bouncer doesn't like what a guy has on then that guy is not getting in! The drinks are pretty pricy but it's the Hard Rock (it's expected). The bathrooms at Spirits are very big and clean and have a bathroom attendant. There is anywhere from 5 to 8 bouncers per room, making sure people don't get out of control. Oh, and don't even think of taking your high heels off, ladies... the bouncers don't care that your feet hurt, they make you put them back on. I think it’s a precaution, just in case there is glass on the floor or something. There are also a couple of janitors in each room sweeping the floors so that the club looks clean at all times. I like Spirits a lot because of the music and because it’s very clean. I also like the fact that everyone must be 21 or older to get in. I would absolutely recommend Spirits nightclub to everyone.

I celebrated my birthday this year at Jimmy's Cafe, one of the hottest nightclubs in West Palm Beach. The dress code for that night was black/white only and it was definitely a "dress to impress" event. The black/white theme is a party hosted by Pacinos barbershop, once a year. It is one of the fun things to do in WPB and you see pretty much everyone you've ever known there. My birthday happened to fall the week of the black/white party, so I figured what better club to party at! Jimmy's Cafe is not as big as other clubs but I always have so much fun when I go. The music is great; they play a little bit of everything. Also it is well decorated and clean. The club has two rooms, a VIP section above the main dance floor and three bars. It is mostly a Spanish based club so the majority of people who go are Spanish. Jimmy's has different themed nights so the age of the crowds it attracts differs. The day of the black/white party was on a Saturday and the crowd in attendance was between 18-28 years old. Since it was my birthday, my friends had gotten a VIP table and bottle service to celebrate. I had a great birthday at Jimmy's and am looking forward to next year's black/white party!
